i’d been a keto guy for the last 5-6 months which let me get down to about 7% and after that i started bulking with more calorie intake, increased fat, protein and carbs. going back to carbs has got my a little foggier than what i was used to, but its helping me bulk i personally think ketosis is the healthiest form of dieting. so i’m wondering what a good approach would be to getting the nutritional content you need, but still be able to transition comfortably to the diet given by the af. having an aerobic base is the foundation to a successful routine that is best prepared for a&s/indoc, but incorporating anaerobic strength into that is the icing on the cake. i think intermittent fasting is the ultimate bio hack and does miracles for cellular turnover which aids in recovery time, i would just think it is hard to build more lean mass with that in you’re regimen. how is your energy during workouts in a fasted state?

eat around 3200 calories a day to maintain while training. i drink coffee every day. diet is the key, though. if i did keto i would be entirely too lean. i did a hell half day event and the guys that were 7% bodyfat and looked like linebackers were the first ones out. you dont think its better to nip those habits in the butt to give your body and brain time to adjust? my addiction to caffeine is bad which is why i know the sooner i get off it, the easier it will be to adjust to long days without it.
