i have been looking for a definitive list of morphemes that is organized by grade level like the fry sight word list. basically, a morpheme is the “smallest grammatical unit.” it isn’t the same thing as a word, and yet many words are morphemes. i admitted ignorance on this issue, and i’ve tried to turn that ignorance to your advantage. the point is not that there is a “scope and sequence” of morphemes to teach.
