reflect on their own lives and articulate what strategies they will take in order to overcome these challenges and develop their intelligence or talent  i generally share the link for the padlet page on google classroom so learners can simply click on the link and type away. this will give learners the opportunity to read what their peers have written and make comments on their pads. explain to students that often it is our mindset that holds us back and not our ability. highlight that research shows that we can control our ability to learn and that we can develop our intelligence and become better learners.

encourage them to articulate what strategies they will take in order to overcome these challenges and develop their intelligence/skill. groups can work on the table on a google docs which is shared with the class. this activity will  allow learners to realize that they are not alone and that their peers have challenges too. learners can use the stickies feature to organize their responses. to make it more interactive, encourage learners to watch one or two videos and make comments.
